Who we are

A family owned well established Edinburgh Airport Taxi Company. We use Mercedes Benz saloons to provide transport services including airport taxis, airport transfers, airport cabs, executive cars and chauffeur services.

Airport Taxis Edinburgh specialise in airport transfers and city to city transfers to and from destinations throughout Scotland and the UK including Dundee Glasgow Gleneagles Muirfield Perth Stirling & St Andrews.

All of our drivers are enhanced CRB Cleared and licensed by the local authority as experienced private hire drivers. They are polite, friendly and helpful and provide excellent customer service. They also have an excellent working knowledge of the Edinburgh and surrounding areas.

How we started

Established in July 2006 as Taxis Edinburgh Ltd we quickly found that the high quality professional services that we offered was more suited to the niche taxi market that Edinburgh Airport presents.

Taxis Edinburgh Ltd was rebranded to Airport Taxis Edinburgh Ltd (SC319715) in March 2007.

Airport Taxis Edinburgh was the first airport taxi company to use Vauxhall Vectra hatchback, which proved to be the ideal airport transfers car.

One of the most comfortable cars in its class. A company car favourite, it is designed to cover big miles in comfort and this it manages with ease and the ride is excellent.

The Vauxhall Vectra 2.0 litre followed by the 1.9 facelift model was so fuel economical it help to keep prices down.

Future Goals

Edinburgh Airport has grown rapidly over the last 10 years. Having undergone redevelopment to extend and upgrade its terminal facilities.

It is Scotland’s busiest airport, with over nine million passengers a year.

Airport Taxis Edinburgh has built up a local and international business clientele including major financial, media, educational institutions, bio tech and travel companies.

Airport Taxis Edinburgh would like to expand and improve our services by taking advantage of the latest technology.
